I'm here to explain my first experience in travelling to the United States Of America. I went on B2 visa which is for travel or medical treatment visa. Visa application and process is straight forward for me and with little hassle. This document is an overview post the visa approval. First thing is we need to book a ticket. Festivals Festivals in America are celebrated more with the family and we can rarely see people outside on streets. On contrast Indian festivals are more with the community and we have festivals round the corner. I can hardly see people on roads for Christmas. It can be possibly because of cold also. People Greeting strangers with smile is a very common thing in America. It was hard for me coming from India to adjust this thing here but I got used to it because it made me friendlier. Safety A very contradicting point to be mentioned right after people but this holds a good position. As much as I say that people were friendly I have been warned that I have to be careful to go out in dark. If it is difficult in downtown I cannot possibly think of other places that can be safe. This post that I am going to write is not a travel trip. It is going to be strictly for those who are going to come Chennai for a living and plotted according to my experiences . Chennai is the city which has fascinated me with its travel mode all around to important places. Train route is possible for the major places. While one can go to important places in AC metro buses and good deluxe buses, there is a bus always from anywhere to anywhere. The only thing that irritates me is the negligible buses after 10 in the night. Yes, Chennai doesn’t have a night life . It halts mostly after 10 in the night. But I am having a good weekends (day time I mean) with malls , beaches , temples , cricket and sleep in home.
