Date of visit : 5/7/2015, Lunch Sigree restaurant has been on my wishlist for long before I visited and had been shocked as why it was ever on the list. Though the people here are far more courteous and generous to my never ending questions and requests about everything, food was not at par as the name resonates.  Starters were just plain okay with no variety or spicy taste. There wasn't even chicken legs which are normally served in BBQ. Veg BBQ are better to non-veg. It could have been better as there are far more competing restaurants in chennai. Main course as all other foodies suggest are a major set back. It really requires a major change as there isn't anything that makes you wonder. Date of visit: 17/6/2015 Dinner Courteous is one word to explain this restaurant. They are helpful in making decisions on what to order and patiently what is the food and service us properly. We came as group of 7 people for dinner and went with stomach full of food and heart full of happiness.  We got mint soda as welcome drink which are absolutely complementary. The honey potato fries are yummy and must order item on the list. Momos are also given as complementary. I wasn't good fan of chicken soup and their made me to hate it. DO NOT FOR CHICKEN SOUP. Chicken grill was good. They are courteous enough to give us more myanoise. The biryani was okay only. Chicken sizzler was so tasty that you will crave for more. Date of visit: 2/06/2015 Lunch After seeing its much hype with the 4.9 rating, we people as a group of 24 went to visit the place. First things first. This is place is jam packed even on a weekday for lunch. The  starters  are simply amazing and similar you get at any barbecue restaurant. Paneer achari is tasty. Pineapple barbecue makes you to ask more. Chicken is usually good while prawns aren't over burnt or not at all. On an overall experience spend your time on starters than main course. It is worth it. Grilled chicken pieces are damn awesome. Do not refrain in asking more of it. Coming to  main course , I hardly tasted it because of my infatuation with starters. However you can taste different veg balls which are often treated with butter or cream. Definitely soothes your taste buds. Paneer gravy is also good. Get the curd rice with the mangoes. Date of visit: 29/5/2014 - Dinner Do not visit this restaurant on its brand reputation. I felt many roadblocks as not to visit it again. It doesn't stand to its reputation and very bad experience for me. First and foremost problem I saw was with the tables which swing a lot, unstable to be precise. I moved three times for this problem. Order : 1. Cream of tomato soup - well what can go wrong with a soup? These people show what can be wrong. First mushroom soup is not available and then this cream of tomato soup doesn't have cream on it. Disappointing it is, no? There is still to go. 2. Paneer Tikka achari - This is to be regarded as the best. Must try for panner tikka. Paneer just melts on your tongue. 3. Lahori Banno kebab - Though the description wanted me to taste it, the dish made me puke. Chicken wasn't good and the egg coating didnt go well. 4. I thought of writing this post when I wanted to open an application and that couldn't be searched well because of poor indexing mechanism in windows 10 and eventually got struck. I couldn't either search for the application or manually go through the list and open it. I think this is the worst ever OS that can be delivered by Microsoft. So much disappointed.

This post that I am going to write is not a travel trip. It is going to be strictly for those who are going to come Chennai for a living and plotted according to my experiences . Chennai is the city which has fascinated me with its travel mode all around to important places. Train route is possible for the major places. While one can go to important places in AC metro buses and good deluxe buses, there is a bus always from anywhere to anywhere. The only thing that irritates me is the negligible buses after 10 in the night. Yes, Chennai doesn’t have a night life . It halts mostly after 10 in the night. But I am having a good weekends (day time I mean) with malls , beaches , temples , cricket and sleep in home. Though it is sultry in the days with high humidity you can get coconuts all around to quench the thirst and beat the heat (at nominal prices). Autos are the nightmare (as it can be in any city). I was actually thinking about the short films which made my day and it struck to me this short film which is not only great in its story but also the execution. It is beautifully crafted to give the correct sense of humor. I laughed like anything not only the first time I have seen it but for the second third fourth and even the 1000 th time I have seen it. It is very close to normal day happening where a boy meets a girl by Facebook. Ah, I won’t tell the rest of the story. Please do watch it when you have free time.
