Happy new year

I just wanted to start this with the saying, "Happy new year."

But just go back and realize what is it with the saying that almost each and everyone says to each other even though they don't know you or don't even care who you are and how you are for the rest of the year. I may sound skeptical in the harmony that others try to bring with you on this day, on this special day that comes once in a year but the fact that it is only for one day disappoints me and makes me think beyond the routines.
I would only want you to do things that you would want to do on this day which you might find excuses for doing on all other days.
  1. You might clean your room and arrange things in your shelves (dusting included).
  2. You might find yourself going to your balcony and enjoy your surroundings by closing all your electrical gadgets for the evening.
  3. Meet your friend whose meet you are postponing for weeks together due to your works and appointments.
  4. You might make a single road trip to somewhere outside your city where there won't be anyone to disturb you from enjoying yourself.
  5. You might even make a blog post which was in your drafts for so long time or start a blog where you want to post your thoughts or research.
  6. You can read that book which you want to read for long time but couldn't find time.
These are the things that are in my To-Do list. May you can just finish some things that are in your To-Do list and start the year with satisfaction more than joy.

Because satisfaction comes from things that you do which you want to do and following the routine makes you complete a deadline.

Solution to "child margin affects parent" in CSS

The browser implementation is that when the parent has no content and the child requests for margin, the parent is brought down instead of child going down. The solution for these are listed below with their side effects. floats , You  have  to float elements border-top , This pushes the parent at least 1px downwards which should then be adjusted with introducing  -1px  margin to the parent element itself.
